Hey guys I snapped my cyl. 5 exhaust rocker. I have everything out of the way that might stop the rocker shaft from sliding . But I was only able to slide it about two inches tops. Is there a way to slide it enough without having the head off or the motor out ? Thanks r3v

You can only slide it as far as the firewell or radiator support let you. (Depending on which way you're going).
Pulling the head isn't that hard. -
If you really don't want to pull the head you could jack up the engine enough to pull it out the rad side. Not really worth the hassle IMO but saves you the cost of new head bolts and a gasket.Originally posted by e30guydownunderComment
