    Thermostat coolant temp sensors

I'm changing my thermostat housing for another E thermostat. My old one has 4 sensors, and the new one I only ordered two for. See pictures below.

Does the new one need any of the other sensors? I'm assuming only those two are connected. Also, does it matter where each one is placed?

    Thanks,
    Andy

You have the wrong thermostat housing. The new one came from an M20B25 engine. You must have the housing that has four sensor ports.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I have an M20B25, I just thought I bought a used E housing because I kept the E cooling system when I swapped the engine.

So therefore I should be fine with just the two coolant sensors?

      Thanks

In that case you can ignore the extra two sensors.
