Can I delete Air Idle Stabilizer Valve?

I was working around my TB yesterday and when I went to insert the 2 vacuum hoses that contain the idle air stabilizer valve the plastic cover of the valve broke. Im out of town and wondering if i should just try and glue it back together or if I can just remove it and run straight vacuum hoses from the brake booster to the Tb.

i may be confused, but the idle air valve is not in line from the Brake booster to the TB. the idle air valve is from intake to TB... maybe its different on you car. Pics? model year?

Yes, Im not talking about the Idle Control Valve, but on the other side of the intake boot there are 2 hoses that go to TB from Brake Booster and 1 hose that splits back into intake boot.
Real OEM is not working for me so I cant get a part number, nor find the part for sale anywhere.
Ill go take a pic in a few

The plastic piece on top broke clean off, I think because of the temp.
But I can't find any additional infor on what it does, to know whether I should glue it back together to get home, or bypass it.

Its the brake booster check valve. Its there so that you always have a good vacuum on the booster so that the brakes are boosted whenever you hit them. I've read here that you can replace it with the cheaper style (http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/34331156703/ES61693/) with 2 ports but you have to plug one of the ports on the throttle body.

Are you near Charlottesville? If so you can steal the one from my track car if you promise to send it back.

Thanks, for the offer, but I went south before the snow and im in NC.
I guess I will try and seal it, and stop by the pick in pull on the way home. And if not just order the replacement.

The purpose of the check valve to to have a few assisted stops if the engine dies. You will still have assist if you run straight vacuum hose, but if your engine dies at speed for whatever reason...you'll be sorry.

Just run hose and block the extra one on the TB side. If the car dies you'll just have to use more muscle to stop, not a big deal in my experience. Mechanically, you don't need the booster and I'm sure any dude has more than enough leg strength to stop the car from speed.
