its what u want that matters, 2 door or 4 door? simple as that the "is" handles better and a bit quicker, seta good low end torque 4 door. Now I'm assuming you are comparing two cars in very similar condition w/similar miles. It could be clear which one you should get if one is rusted, smokes or just all around poor car. I would think it would be impossible for us to give you a fair opinion without seeing at least both cars. The "seta" or "is" thing is irrelevant when u say all u need is a shell anyways. You may just want to let your boyfriend that your getting it from choose?

The "is" is currently getting a motor put In so it's hard to say details on that car and like I said once I get pics ill put them up. "Seta has virtually no rust and I kno every part that has been replaced and the "is has some rust but nothing to major that isn't fixable in a day or 2. And the "is" is just a shell at the moment. New trans and motor being built. 5 speed good clutch. Idk I've never driven an "is" but the "seta" is fun.

what are you getting it for? as a daily driver or project..honestly the IS sounds good but if its just some friends putting the motor back together then you never know whats gonna be done right and wrong...if youve driven the seta and everything seems ok and you like it then go for that..BUT if the ppl putting the motor in are mechanics and KNOW what theyr doing then that might be a pretty sweet deal
