I'm from the Netherlands, i am 24 years old and i got 2 BMW's e30 320i&316i both from 1988.
I have a little garage for these cars where i can repair or mod. them whenever i want. I started with my 320i in july last year but because the chassis is to bad i had to buy another e30 (316i) so i can swap the engine. but that swapping thing is still in progres (just started:p).
But know ive got some questions:
My plane was rebuilding they engine with m20b23 crankshaft and pistons, but when i was looking threw the engines specs of the e21 and the e30, i find out that the m21b24 aka Diesel has a simlaire bore (80mm).
So can i combine the diesel crank 81mm with 80mm bore?? and did somebody try that before??
i did what calculations by my self and my conclusion is:
Eta or Dieselcrank (81mm stroke)
130mm Rods maby m50 rods if its possible.
M20b23 Pistons and shave 2.45mm off the top and remove the skirt.
731 head poort polisch and poort algm.
288 Degree cam or 272/288 degree
320i/325i intake runner with 325i TB
