    so das good or das bad?

    as you can see by the pictures i have removed the cam from an 885 head i want to use for a turbo build and found these little monsters is it possible to have them cut out bigger an then have bushing installed? has anyone ever ran into this and fixed it? Thanks Harry.

    Das bad. Unfortunately there is little you can do because there isn't a serviceable piece to replace like there is on a crankshaft. If you machine the cam journals and the cam, you will have too much clearance between the cam and journal. You MIGHT get away with it but it all depends on how deep the lines go.

      yea thats what i was thinking but i was just wondering if you could have the journal cut then press in the right size bearing and im not re using that cam im going to by a new one.
