Ok. The car sat all week since this happened. Have been driving it today and it seems fine?? I checked the vacum lines for visual signs of leaks and they all look ok. I picked up a new tank, fuel pump and pressure regulator that I will be changing out tomorrow. If it happens again after that then I will smoke test and pull the plugs and wires.

Ok. So it just happened again. What I did notice, my fuel pump has been whining since I've gotten the car. When it just happened, I couldn't hear the pump like I normally always do. Hopefully that is the issue. Will be changing it out tomorrow.

Visually checked for vacum leaks and didn't see any. Didn't have time to change the tank so what I did was, drained all of the gas in the tank. Still had gas in it from when I purchased the car. Who knows how long its been sitting. I changed the fpr, external pump and fuel filter. All seems ok so far. Still going to change the tank out. When I drained it, the gas had a nice clay brown color to it. After I put new gas in, I pulled the hose off before and after the filter to see what the gas looked like and it was much better. I hope this resolved my issues. Thanks for the help everyone.
