Aluminum expansion tank???

I need to buy a new expansion tank for my 2.7i build. A new one runs about 110 $
A new shiny polished aluminum moroso universal expansion tank is the same price.

Can I use that w/ a late model cooling system if I'm gonna spend that much money I would rather have the shiny one over the plastic one that's gonna turn yellow and look like dog shit.

If my coolant light is always on that won't bother me I will probably be removing the check panel anyway.

There is nothing really special about the expansion tank as long as the replacement has the fittings for both cooling system hoses. Shorting the connector for the level warning switch will turn off the check panel light.

I ended up ordering one for a mustang since it was cheaper and apears that it will fit better in the factory location. I'm gonna have a friend weld in a fitting to mount my coolant level sensor in.

I will update on how it works in my buil thread when this project is finished
