If the dowel pin is present the harmonic balancer will only go on one way. If the dowel pin is missing, it needs to be installed.

nope but theres a little hole that lines up with a little hole on the crank gear but other than that it can go on 6 different ways

Replaced fuel pressure regulator , and it fixed the fuel pressure issue , but now my cars running lean and won't run unles you feather the throttle it will sorta rev but not really , with the airbox and everything connected . I need some help I dont believe I have any vacuum leaks since I've checked everything and the only possible one would be the breather tube , theres no oring on the block side , any idea why my car would be running lean,

you should properly test the injectors , also when you plugged in the ICV it shut off what if its not operateing correctly or just stuck and not working check that out clean it out aswell , and your ecu isnt throwing any codes? it sounds like its an electrical issues go through all the wireing check every little thing to see if its torn , i know that mercades had a problem with similar issues were the wires would just decompose with these bmws sometimes the wires are so old the insulation crack look around find crack maybe even a tear in the wire can cause all sorts of issues

I'd replace the CPS just for the hell of it. It can be intermitent and cause all sorts of problems. I had a car running rough and lean (so lean the exhaust pipes were red) and it was the CPS failing.

take your injectors out and have them checked and cleaned, they could be leaking/ dumping too much fuel.

I still haven't figured this out , if its flooded what could it be . i checked the c191 connector looked dirty a little bit , but I can get it to run without the air box so im pretty sure the injectors are working . Iac buzzes , tps clicks , afm operates , I have no fuel obstructions , I have a new fuel filter in the rear and a little fuel filter that's see through up by the fuel rail . I've got a new plugs. I checked to see if I could blow through the fpr and I couldn't .
Anyone have any ideas what this could be , seriously the weathers warm and i wanna drive my e30 .
Any advice seriously any input I have some vids posted up
Im not sure if the Alternator is charging , because the lights are on the dash but it used to do this until I touched the pedal ,could that have anything to do with it ? Help me 0 miles on my motor :(

I remember my car would do the same thing. You start it and then suddenly secounds later it just shut off. I managed to get home by accelerating the peddal to keep live.

I found that the plastic clips or whatever on the throtle links were no good. I think you should check that to see if operating right not shutoff

I cant tell you the part number cuz I never fixed it I just swap another engine.. but check the throttle links
