    which cps do I need?

this is a follow question to responses I got for my car not starting after replacing all of the usual suspects.

on pelican parts, there's two options, both of which are applicable to my model.
ones "cps motronic engine (front of engine)" and "cps/rpm sensor".
this might be an obvious answer but I don't know which one I need. and help?

You need part number 12141720852. Only use an OE or OEM part.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I'll second that recommendation for an OEM BMW sensor. The aftermarket on these are junk.

          Sensor is $72 from TheBMWpartStore.
