    oil leak right front of engine

    i have an oil leak just below the head front right where the timing cove head and block all meet. gonna clean and see where. any advice? m20 325

    Check your rocker shaft end plugs. There's 4 of them.

      rocker shaft plugs or your cam seals. there are two cam seals. One is an oring and the other a metal/rubber press in seal

        That's a known issue with the M20. BMW replaced my head gasket in early '85 on my '83 528e during a factory campaign to correct two issues. It slowed it down to a weep but didn't totally fix it. A third new design gasket was installed in mid-'94 for the same leak. It didn't fix it and it still weeps. It'll be replaced again, when an MM head is installed this spring.
