My seta has 7 journals drilled from the factory, however it is a dot-r motor installed in 94 so I don't know if the original build date 10/87 motor would have been the same, I have seen both 4 and 7 versions and have yet to narrow down what production dates dictate which came in what.
I will be putting and I top end on tomorrow because I don't feel like pulling the cam out of two heads and putting it in one, when I can just plop the complete I head on and make the whole job that much quicker and easierShawn @ Bimmerbuddies

Another question has come up... Do I need to swap out the entire wiring harness or computer alone? I have stripped out the parts car and gotten all the essentials. I know I need the computer, but I can't find whether or not I need the harness. I would guess it is the same, but some pages say to switch it and others don't say anything aside from the computer.
Update: I found some #19 injectors from a 5.0 and am in the works on getting an I.E. 272 cam. Very few things holding me back from tearing into my car.
Someone please help. Thanks in advance!Comment
