    what is this wire??

it is a very thick wire that comes from the engine harness right near the dme plug and grounds. i think it may come from the battery it has a square flat plate with a hole in it (like a ground )

looks kinda like this but flat and it isnt that short is on the engine harness.

if someone could tell me where this goes that would be great.

did a little research and found out what it was, it was the + side from my battery, it goes to the battery distribution block on my fire wall.

also another question that i couldnt seem to find, is there a single wire connecting the starter to this distribution block? or does it run through the wiring harness?

The power cable for the battery connects to the terminal block on the right side of the firewall and runs across the front of the car to the starter. It isn't part of the engine harness.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

i found that out after i did some research. i had to search "battery distribution block" to find any real pictures. do you have any info on weather or not the starter has wires going to or from the block?

im assuming they run through the engine harness

The starter solenoid (and unloader on later cars) wires are part of the engine harness, as is the alternator output wire.
