    motor swap-325i into 325e shell

so the story goes i scored a 91 325is auto for 400 bucks. it sat for about 2 years and has a lot of substantial rust. so i decided to part it and use some parts for my self. then about a month later i scored a 86 325e 5 speed with a blown head. so i am in the middle of swapping the motors and am basically ready to do so. just need to get a lift and actually get them switched over.

    few questions.
    1. for the harness i have it all pulled except from the fuse box. i cant seem what to do with it here.
    2. besides ecu and harness what else do i need to switch over to make it work.
    3. what all should i replace when mounting the 325i to the 5speed.
    4. any other suggestions. and what not.

thanks and sorry if this has been discussed.

Searching will yield answers to most of those questions

Unplug the big round connector at the fuse block fuse block stays in the car

Besides ECU and harness I would use as much as possible from the late model including cooling system

Replace hard to get to items while you have the engine and trans separated like rear main seal, pan gasket, clutch components ect.
