    E34 m20 oil pan on E30 m20

Hello guys, I just broke an oil pan from being low ( Race skid failed). I mounted it all then realized that there was an extra hole that needs to be plugged.... I thought that this was an e30 m20 pan not an e34. What can I use to pug this hole? Any thoughts without taking it off again?

Tap the hole and use a short bolt as a plug. A smear of JBweld will ensure that it doesn't leak and won't loosen.

You can tap the hole w/o removing the pan. Pack the flutes of the tap with grease to capture the swarf. Run the tap in a few turns, back it out, clean it, and repack with grease. Repeat.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
