Hey folks, I have an M20B23 with L-Jet management, been searching for some time to figure out how to time it.. some people claim that there is a window to the flywheel through which you can see timing marks and apply timing light, but this is completely false - there is no window, there was no window in the original auto trans it came with, and the flywheel I've installed does not have timing marks since it's an aftermarket S50 flywheel. It is true that L-Jet M30s have this window on the bellhousing, but M20s don't.
Do I go by the timing marks on the front pulley/harmonic balancer? Anyone know recommended advance for an '83 M20B23?
I hope I'm not stuck doing it by butt dyno...
