    Uncovered RPM Issue

My M20 starts perfectly when its cold and will run perfectly fine with the rpms around 800.
But once the motor is fully warmed up and you turn off the car, and re-start it, that is when I get rpm's jumping.
So again to clarify..... Engine temp is halfway, then once I turn off the car and immediately start it back up again thats when the rpms will bounce from 500-1100.

New air filter, all air/vacuum hoses look good, so its not an air leak.... and fuel injection seems perfectly normal. Please help me stop this idling issue.

I have searched for for over an hour, and nobody seems to have had the same issue. Any ideas?

My first suspicion would be intake leaks and a smoke test will find any. Then clean the ICV, adjust the valves, and replace the O2 sensor if it has 100k on it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
