    New daily, new problems

Picked up another e30 yesterday with the intent to daily it. Yesterday after getting it home I pulled the spark plugs and ran a compression test and got (front of the car towards rear) 180 180 180 210 210 205. Plugs 1 2 3 were pretty heavily covered with oil as was the right exhaust manifold gasket. Car is very low on power, runs pretty smooth despite the low power though. P/O said he thinks it's the headgasket. Any input? I wish I had a leak down tester to test the rings and seals.

Edit: car is a 86 325e and timing belt is in tact.

    Also no visible vacuum leaks.

Problem #2 : None of the lights inside the car other than the ones by the B pillars work. Switches have power and all cluster warning lights work (speedo, tach, fuel, and temp aren't back lit) There is some shifty radio installed in the car. Checked continuity to the fuses and there were about 6 30 amp fuses installed and none of them lit the tester.

    - Window switches work and the drivers side one lights up

Thanks for the help as always r3v.

for oil issue. that is from the valve seals being shot.
-an upper refresh will bring life into the car.

for loss of power. check grounds and see if you are getting good spark, check for air intake or exhaust leaks. beyond that it is an eta, you should be only getting 110whp

a full refresh will make it nice again. also chip it.
    Much wow
    I hate 4 doors

That's what I figured. Will pull the motor within the next couple days and report back. Are the victor reinz gasket sets any good? The car will be solely used for DD. I have a s50 swap that is my toy.
