Snapped the lower t-belt case bolt. What are the dimensions?

That 1 bolt that holds the prtective metal case over the tbelt, tensioner etc snapped and I'm going to try to find a new one at the store.

Does anyone happen to know if it's a standard size that I can find? or do you know the thread size, diameter, etc.?

I ask because I don't have calipers or a thread gauge.

was it a 8mm or 10mm head? all bmw bolts are standard metric sizes and pitches.
