    m20b27 newb to fuel injectors.

alright... so.. hasn't been more than 4 days the ive had my 86 325e and its got a misfire on the 2nd and 3rd cylinder from the front of the car. pulling the plug wires does not change the ide at all. the plugs are getting spark, rocker arms and valves are fine, no vacuum leaks.. everything besides the injectors check out just fine. So the only thing left that would cause the 2 to misfire would be fuel injectors.

the po of the car said he had replaced 3 out of the 6 injectors himself.. so that is the most likely cause of the problem. but I have no clue how to check and see if they are working or clogge or leaky or anything, so if someone could point me in the right direction or if you have any ideas that would be awesome! also, great to be back on r3v really missed it

Why did he replace 3 of them? Make sure they are plugged in correctly and not with 2 of the connectors switched. You could move a good injector over to where the suspected bad ones are to see if it's the injector itself.

Pull the injectors and send them to a shop that can rebuild, clean, and flow test them. I like RC Engineering for this.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
