    Probably a dumb question

I pulled my engine over a year ago to deal with a confluence of a failing steering rack, clutch, timing belt change and minor rust issues and in the beginning of the project failed to account for the family/house/job time multiplier that makes these projects take an inordinate amount of time. Needless to say in the beginning I was not careful about labeling every wire and hose as I was rushing to disconnect everything from the engine before my buddy showed up to help me remove the engine.

I will soon be posting images of a glorious repainted M20 and engine bay but as I get everything ready to go back in the one thing I am wondering about is how to tell the difference between the engine wiring harness plugs on the crank reference sensor and the inductive sensor coming from the plug wires.

Probably not a big deal to just wait and see what happens and if necessary swap them but if there is a way to ensure I have them connected properly I would appreciate the guidance.

    Thanks,
    Lance.

The CPS connector has coax wires. If you peel back the boot you can easily identify that connector.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
