    '84 engine electrical issue

My 1984 325e has a serious electrical issue. Cold start injector is getting no voltage and Ecu is,only getting 7 volts. Car will start, and quickly bog out. I am absolutely stumped. Please help!!!! Car has a,freshly rebuilt head due to stuck valves. No after market wiring has, been done to the vehicle.

Grounds good? Fusible link or battery cable connections look good?

Battery and or charging system..... Testing the proper wires for voltage, I'm assuming it was running correctly before the repairs?

Main relay was replaced, fusible link is good. Put an alternator out of a known working car. Still nothing

Is it possible that a short in the gauge cluster could cause this issue?

You may end up having to look at the ETM for your vehicle. The Electrical Troubleshooting Manual will have many of the circuits laid out so you can trace them down.
