Help!!! My car wont run right

So I was driving one day and the car started acting like it was outta fuel. So I pulled off on a side street and came to the concluesion that the car would ilde but if I pushes the gas it would just bog down and wanna die if not die. I found a bad intake manifold gasket and replaced it. I was told crank postion sensor by someone a while age but when I pulled the sensor while the car was running it killed it. Then plugged it back in and it idles fine again, but still bogs down. So im assuming that thats not issue. I have access to a multi-meter and some basic tool. Any input, or ideas would be helpful. Im short on money and need my car so I can get back to working. Please R3V gurus help me out...

Acts like its out of fuel, Probably fuel issue. Clogged fuel filter, clogged screen in fuel tank, fuel pump going out, FPR gone bad.

Get a smoke test done. I suspect that you have significant vacuum leaks.

How do I test sensors with the multimeter? They are three prong sensors

Install a cheap vacuum gauge and observe/report back with the reading. Sounds like a restricted exhaust to me.

No, an actual smoke test with a smoke machine. You also need to plug both intake and exhaust to find all the leaks.

my car sorta did something similar. It would idle halfway decently and then when I added gas it would bog down. I changed the o2 sensor and now everything is fine.

I'd agree with the O2 sensor comment but I would also suspect the fuel pump.

                      Good luck

I'm having a very similar issue, but my vehicle is still driveable if I'm very easy on the gas. Did you have any sputtering, exhaust backfiring?

I doubt its the exhaust or O2 sensor. The O2 sensor was just replaced less then a year ago... How would I go about check a sensor with a multimeter? Like the three prong ones, ie cps, tps ect...

So we were looking at the mass air meter and found that the door was stuck. I got this shitty little cold air cone, and part of the shitty crome metal thing got sucked in the maf, and blocked the door.... Damn you Matt-B

Well im not sure now, now I can damn near floor it and it just revs to about 2 grand and drops and then revs again. If I hold it down, it starts to backfire outta the intake I think. Any ideas?
