Mayonaise stuff in my block. How do I clean it out?

So i bought an 89 325is with a blown head gasket. I had the head cleaned, and pressure tested and it's all good. The block is good as well, but it has some mayonnaise lookin stuff from the oil and coolant mixture inside the block. I drained all the liquid from the block, but there's still a little residue inside of it. I was told to run a few cycles of oil and an engine cleaner through it to clean it out, then put oil in it and drive it. What do you guys think?

If you still have it apart, wiping the residue down with diesel or kerosene will take care of it no problemo.

Clean as much as you can with the engine apart, then try this:

Mother of god, where did he come up with that combo of stuff. Has anyone else done this? Any negatives?

This is really easy. Put a fresh filter and oil in, drive the car 50-100 miles, preferably at highway speed. Then change the oil and filter. To be certain, repeat that one more time and then revert to a normal oil/filter change cycle.

The milkshake is just a water emulsion contaminated with anti-freeze. Under sustained highway speed driving the entire engine will get hot enough to boil off the water. The oil/filter changes will flush out the anti-freeze.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
