So ive been messing with my e30 for a couple of hours and i cant figure out what to replace. I have this really loud air leak, Where im getting almost no suction from the air boot. When driving i can feel the loss in power. I sprayed carb cleaner all through the vacuum pipes but it only revs up in this area. I dont believe there's a vacuum line there, So could it be a bad gasket? or cracked intake manifold?

A smoke test will tell you exactly where the leak is. With the engine having a leak bad enough to hear you will have to repeat the smoke test after the initial round of repairs to find the smaller leaks. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
