    Air leak, Vacuum or gasket?

So ive been messing with my e30 for a couple of hours and i cant figure out what to replace. I have this really loud air leak, Where im getting almost no suction from the air boot. When driving i can feel the loss in power. I sprayed carb cleaner all through the vacuum pipes but it only revs up in this area. I dont believe there's a vacuum line there, So could it be a bad gasket? or cracked intake manifold?

Could be bad valve cover gasket, intake manifold gasket, or injector oring

A smoke test will tell you exactly where the leak is. With the engine having a leak bad enough to hear you will have to repeat the smoke test after the initial round of repairs to find the smaller leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I borrowed my friends smoke machine and narrowed down all of the cars vacuum leaks instantly.

This was the car... epic leak:
