    Thermostat housing sensors on m20b27

So Im trying to eliminate all possible issues to a rough idle/running issue I'm having and I've notice some of the sensors in the thermostat housing are broken or showing bare wires.
Can some of these sensors cause my idle/running issue?
F.I. There is a sensor with two connectors with spade connectors and that's flat out broken off.
I realize they were put there for a reason but I don't have the money to replace all at once so I'm aiming for vital running sensors.
    Thanks for your time,

Two of the sensors are important for a cold start as they are part of the cold start systen. One of the remaining sensors is for the temperature gauge and won't affect engine operation. The last of the sensors is the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT) and it will affect hot engine operation. Normally the ECT sensor is the lowest one closest to the firewall.

The odds are that a rough running condition is more likely to be from an aged O2 sensor (service life is 100k), aged distributor and/or ignition wires (service life is 10 year or 100k), the wrong plugs (use NKG ZGR5A), intake leaks, mis-adjusted valves, or a combination of those. The only way to determine if intake leaks are present is a smoke test the other items just need replacement or adjustment.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I just replaced all my plugs with e3 plugs. My distributer tabs where dirty but I filed them clean,I have a 2 vacume hoses I know are bad (ones hardened ones cracked),I know my wires are good(they don't make the best connection at the plugs though). I have no clue how to check an o2 sensor.
So yeah I think you summed it up haha, thanks jlevie you just made me a grocery list.
