hey guys i just wanted your input on the setup im about to put regarding motor and transmission mounts. my 325i is a daily as well as a track car. with that being said im looking to put akg 75D motor mounts with e21 stock transmission mounts. will this work best? anyone have the same setup that can comment on its performance? any other better alternatives? let me know and thanks to all you e30 experts :)

i literally just installed Condor Speed Shop urethane transmission and motor mounts for M20 and love them, its on my daily/future autox car and there is some noticeable vibrations at takeoff but they smooth out and the butt dyno says the motor feels more responsive. great price and great service from those guys, give them a look. im not sure why you would use e21 stock transmission mounts on an e30 but maybe i just have been out of the loop too long. i would say if you track your car and dont have little kids in the back seat and dont mind a little vibration at takeoff then urethane or solid bushings are fun. -
thanks for the input! i heard that the e21 mounts are bigger and sturdier and heard some people use them as an upgrade over stock e30 mounts. do you have the race recommended mounts from condor? do they offer them in street/track? whats the durometer on them?Originally posted by Regnar75 View PostComment
