Hey guys. I've been having this on and off issue with my car "bucking" on the highway. The wide band gauge I have in the car would normally read 14.5-7 idling, 12-3.0 cruising around town/highway and 11-12.0 under boost. Now however, after driving for an extended period of time(about 20 mins), or even just trying to start it it seems to be running strange.
When giving the car some throttle in gear the wide band gauge will read between 10-11.0 and the motor seems bogged down. It mainly happens when I go over a bump, but if I keep a steady foot on the gas pedal and avoid pot holes it runs semi-fine. Once I hit something though the problem immediately starts back up as if I were trying to accelerate. So the problem isn't a shortage of fuel but too much
I've been trying to figure this out for a while, and I was suspicious of the fuel pump relay, so I changed it out with a used junkyard relay. No change. So next I thought about the fuel pressure regulator and the coil. But I'd like to hear what the folks of r3v have to say about this and if anybody has had similar experiences.
