Hesitation with New transfer pump 87is

So when working on my e30 I came to find that the transfer pump was made of rust and no longer working. The main pump was also screaming at me. The gas tank was made of rust as well. So I had bought a parts car that had been t-boned. It had a new transfer pump and a very rust free gas tank. So I swapped the tank and pump over to my car. The t-boned car drove fine on the way home.

So now on the first test drive the car actually has a hesitation that was not there before and the car feels much slower. It seems to lack power under 4k rpm. The main pump is much quieter. Car was filled with fresh 93 gas with the tank swap. So I have checked all the lines and there are no leaks. A new fuel filter was installed as well. So anything I should check? Crank sensor is new and looks in good shape.

Check rail fuel pressure while driving.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
