ix ready for winter but no start!

i parked my ix in July and since have done a full timing belt job (water pump, thermostat, all new belts), flushed and filled coolant, silicone coolant hoses, valve cover breather hose, new distributor and rotor, new spark plugs, installed a bav auto cold ait intake kit with heat shield, and replaced an a/c line.
Problem is now she won't start!
i'm pretty sure i have spark and fuel. i have spark at all 6 plugs according to my inline spark tester, fuel pump and filter are new in May. i've 'jumped' the fuel pump relay according to the bentely manual and can hear it running. even tried starting the car with the jumper in place and still nothing. tried spraying starting fluid into the manifold and then behind the air filter, still nothing. the front of the engine is turning the crank and with spark and fuel present I've ruled out the CPS. i redid my work on the distributor to ensure i have plug wires connected in the proper order and i did. Put 5 gallons of fresh gas in and starter is less than a year old...the "check" lite comes on when i turn the key and goes off with brake pedal contact. i had the battery on a trickle charge the entire time it was disconnected.
i'm about to climb under the car and disconnect the fuel line at the filter to ensure fuel is being sent. I have a week until snow is forecast again in Denver. Looking at throwing in towel Wednesday night and just have her towed to my shop. would love to avoid if at all possible.
    thanks in advance.
