    Acceleration Problem.

Car is mostly fine when coldish, but when I get going, and I accelerate with more than medium pressure on the pedal, the acceleration becomes bumpy and uneven. Any ideas?

That sounds like misfires and the immediate suspects would be the ignition system, injectors, and fuel delivery system.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

So do you think bad spark plugs/ ignition harness could be the problem?

The first thing I'd suspect would the the distributor rotor, cap, ignition wires, and plugs. New OE parts and NGK ZGR5A plugs are called for. Then run the fuel pressure and delivery test in the Bentley manual. If no joy there, have the injectors professionally clean, rebuilt and flow tested (I like RC Engineering) and on a 9/87 or later M20B25 engine check C191 for corrosion.

I'm having this same problem. Also if I let it sit for more than 24 hours, it becomes hard to start. It only does it for about 10 or so minutes and then like the flip of a switch, it runs fine.

So I went in and checked everything out and one of the ignition wires had come loose off of the plug - popped it backed on and the problem was gone.

Haha. I wish I was that lucky! I've already checked that. I'll keep checking it out. I haven't went too deep into it yet.
