    M20b25 thermostat housing

Can someone tell me if there's a difference between an early model and late model thermostat housing? I have to convert my early model cooling system to a late model to make the radiator I bought from cx racing fit, which is really frustrating since they sent me a radiator that was supposed to fit my car and it doesn't. I've bought the water pump, water pipe, upper nd lower hoses the expansion tank and that's it so far...are there any other hoses I need also?

There is a difference between the ETA tstat housing and the housing used on M20B25 engines. The first having four sensor ports and the latter having only two. But the two port housing has been superseded by a four port version. You just use two plugs for the extra holes on an M20B25.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yes. You don't need to change the thermostat housing to convert to late model cooling system.

Ok and the water hose that goes from the expansion tank to the block where does that go since it no longer goes into the water pump?

That connection is to the T shaped heater hose that connects to the thermostat housing.
