The Jalapeño (a Laguna Green 1992 325iC) is not feeling spicy lately. The Peño drove happily around until I replaced the o-ring on the FPR, because I only ordered 12 the first time. That's when the shenanigans started... It will intermittently bog/buck/limp, acting like its not getting enough fuel, I shut it off and turn it back on. Car is fine and acts like nothing ever happened
. I have recently replaced the main and fuel pump relays, CPS and both coolant temp sensors. I don't want to throw parts at it but it needed those. Maybe its as simple as the store sent me the wrong sized o-ring for the FPR? but then my problem would be constant instead of intermittent, idk?
Peño throws a 1263- Evap purge valve code. What could cause this?! I have searched but there isn't much info on this valve or how to test it. I tried unplugging it and nothing changed.
When you unplug the AFM, car wants to shut off. I assume it works.
Tried brand new ignition wires off a friends car, no change
Cleaned up the distributor and rotor, no change
Tried a good 153 ECU for a few days, no change
I always run 89 non-ethanol gas or 93
this evening I will rent a fuel pressure gauge from advance or something
Someone help a girl out? What should I test next to fix the intermittent bog?
