    325iC is mad- CEL 1263?

The Jalapeño (a Laguna Green 1992 325iC) is not feeling spicy lately. The Peño drove happily around until I replaced the o-ring on the FPR, because I only ordered 12 the first time. That's when the shenanigans started... It will intermittently bog/buck/limp, acting like its not getting enough fuel, I shut it off and turn it back on. Car is fine and acts like nothing ever happened. I have recently replaced the main and fuel pump relays, CPS and both coolant temp sensors. I don't want to throw parts at it but it needed those. Maybe its as simple as the store sent me the wrong sized o-ring for the FPR? but then my problem would be constant instead of intermittent, idk?

Peño throws a 1263- Evap purge valve code. What could cause this?! I have searched but there isn't much info on this valve or how to test it. I tried unplugging it and nothing changed.

When you unplug the AFM, car wants to shut off. I assume it works.
Tried brand new ignition wires off a friends car, no change
Cleaned up the distributor and rotor, no change
Tried a good 153 ECU for a few days, no change
    I always run 89 non-ethanol gas or 93
this evening I will rent a fuel pressure gauge from advance or something

Someone help a girl out? What should I test next to fix the intermittent bog?

Try removing the rubber line from the throttle body to the purge valve at the purge valve and plug it. That change anything?

So vpilarrt I couldn't even get a chance to try that because now it won't idle at all unless I keep the revs above 2k. At least now the problem seems constant so I'll dig out the muitimeter and figure out some things.

Could be getting a vacuum leak through the purge hose or valve.

So, the ignition coil reads 0.01 ohms between + and - (outer terminals) and 5.63 between middle and 5.63 between middle and + or -, on the 20k scale. I'm not that great with a multimeter but looks to me like its about kicked the bucket. Time to get a new one! I'll have to address the purge valve fault code once I get a new coil, since it wont run. Thank you :)!

I have a couple OEM Bosch coils if you're interested - $25 shipped.

They're like $80 + shipping from Pelican, etc. You can get an MSD Blaster 2 at Advance for like $50 and you don't have to wait for shipment. Have one on my track car, does fine.
