    1990 E30 325IS Starting problem

hey guys,i'm facing a problem with my E30 any help will be great.

Ok so sunday i stopped by the grocery store ,when i came to leave my car wouldn't start just a single click can be heard and that's it,luckily two guys helped me push start it and i drove it home.

I went ahead and changed the starter motor and still the same issue just a single click can be heard and that's it.

    any help would be appreciated!

Start with the basics, check your battery, alternator, grounds, make sure all connections are clean

did you attach all 4 wires correct to the starter. that would be my first guess. otherwise i would check the above post for the other things to check

Sounds like the solenoid is actuating, but not the starter motor. Be sure the spade terminal is properly connected. Your ignition switch could be wonky too. My 533 has had a button jumping diagnostic pins 11 and 14 to start for years.

Problem fixed, replaced the starter with a used one and I was still getting a single click,so I replaced it with a new one it was continuos clicks ,after some research and trying different things.i added an extra ground from the engine to the chassis and problem fixed!
