My convertible is about to catch fire

If I don't do something about this now its gonna go BOOM

The 92 convertible has suddenly developed an electrical problem, last weekend I finished with a ton of maintenance; head gasket, refreshed head, timing belt, rebuilt m50 injectors, water pump, ignition system tune-up, alternator and associated gaskets and ish like that. The battery was replaced in Aug 2013.

I started it up and it ran fine, I didn't have time to bleed the coolant...so I shut it off.

The next day I replaced the injector wiring harness (because I forgot to install my newer one), went to start it up and now the starter is just clicking and there's sparks coming from where the a/c compressor would be if I had one. Yes SPARKS, the kind that catch fire to things.

Any ideas on why there's a big ole spark coming out of the front right corner of the engine? A bad grounding strap, or for some reason when I removed the injector harness something melted? Can a ground strap just suddenly stop grounding and now its trying to ground out the other side of the engine?

Halp before I poke it with the ohmmeter and it 'splodes.

The engine to chassis ground strap on the front left of the engine would be the first thing to check.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

So I replaced the ground, still wouldn't start! So I tapped the started and it started. The starter picked an inconvenient time to die lol. I still haven't figured out why it was theowing sparks, maybe the new ground fixed it
