If I don't do something about this now its gonna go BOOM
The 92 convertible has suddenly developed an electrical problem, last weekend I finished with a ton of maintenance; head gasket, refreshed head, timing belt, rebuilt m50 injectors, water pump, ignition system tune-up, alternator and associated gaskets and ish like that. The battery was replaced in Aug 2013.
I started it up and it ran fine, I didn't have time to bleed the coolant...so I shut it off.
The next day I replaced the injector wiring harness (because I forgot to install my newer one), went to start it up and now the starter is just clicking and there's sparks coming from where the a/c compressor would be if I had one. Yes SPARKS, the kind that catch fire to things.
Any ideas on why there's a big ole spark coming out of the front right corner of the engine? A bad grounding strap, or for some reason when I removed the injector harness something melted? Can a ground strap just suddenly stop grounding and now its trying to ground out the other side of the engine?
Halp before I poke it with the ohmmeter and it 'splodes.
