    Head Bolt Swaping??

I have a 1990 525i that I bought a new set of head bolts for a while back that are Torx and was wanting to know if I can use them on my 1987 325e which has Hex bolts right now! Also what ever bolts I use are they all 22lbs and 90 90? the book says it matters how you torque them depending on using Hex or Torx

I forgot when it was but BMW officially made the move to Torx over hex and I don't think you can even buy Hex head bolts for the m20 anymore.

    here's why...

Also i believe it is still 22lbs 90 degree 90 degree

Awesome! Thanks for posting I figured I could use them since the e and I heads are still on an M20, but I just wanted to make sure from a beginner stand point.

As long as the bolts are new and never used, they will work fine.
