Well thread from the dead:
Got it back from a local machine shop/garage yesterday. Going to put it on tonight. The guy said that because it took him so long he wasn't going to charge. He drilled it, and re tapped for a screw that was a tiny bit bigger, then he did the other two holes so that they all matched. all in all, I think it was pretty good. we'll see how replacement goes :)
