Conforti manual Chip in a swapped car?

Hey i have a 5 speed swapped car, and recently picked up a used turner chip that my car is in the year range for.. Installed it correctly, but it won't turn over just cranks and cranks, looked at the chip and saw that it says manual trans on it. Didn't think twice when i first saw it, but could it be interrupting the chip? Chip being for a manual and all, and my car once being an auto?

That's what I thought, until the chip read manual trans on it..

I've never heard of a chip being specific to AT/MT, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Are you 100% sure the chip is installed in the correct direction? I'd try flipping it 180* and trying again.

Agreed motronic 1.1 and 1.3 both use the same computers regardless of auto/manual trans

Try to swap the stock chip back in to confirm that there isn't a problem with the ecu, you could have damaged it installing the new chip.
