coolant hoses around bypass valve cleanup?

wondering if anyone has found a good way to clean up the tangle of hoses that run into the heater core in the m20. I hate the botch job bmw did when they added the coolant bypass valve at the heater core.

I simply get new hoses and delete that mess. I see no risk in doing so if the driver does their job, a part of which is frequently checking the temperature gauge to see if the engine is running hot or overheating. The purpose of the valve is to protect the occupants from a heater core failure in the event of a really serious overheat. If you don't allow that to happen, you don't need the protection of the valve.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
