    E30 Camseal HELP

    Hi Im doing the timing belt now, I want to do the cam seal. I have the correct seal and o ring. Anyway is it safe to use a impact gun on it without holding down the cam sprocket?
    Any insight would be appreciated.

      You want to impact the bolt holding the cam sprocket on ?

          Sorry if my wording isn't the best. I dont have the tool to hold the sprocket but I do have the T50 torx socket. I want to do the seal but do I need the tool to hold the sprocket? Old belt is still on but I afraid of damaging the valves...
