Won't start sometimes

So the car runs great. Works fine. But every so often (every blue moon) it won't start. Usually at the gas station. I will turn the key. All lights come on and then I go to start it and all I get is a faint click. I have figured out that if I jump my car off a friends it will start. But my battery is not dead. It's actually new. I checked it last time this happened and it was at full 12v. This is where I'm stumped. And after all of that. I can turn it off and on with no problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if there was a post about this already too. Google sucks.

Start by checking your battery cable connections to make sure there clean and tight. Check the connections under the hood to. Make sure you check the ground cable to body connection.

Google is your greatest friend. Go back to Google on your knee and beg for forgiveness. It might then give you the answers you are looking for. In the mean time, check your starter connections, starter relay, grounds, and CPS.

both the ignition switch and the starter motors can fail causing these sorts of problems. Could have something on the way out. Especially if it only does it when it's hot.
