    Odd running problem.

Car is a 1986 325is. The problem is that on a dry day, the car seems to run fine but doesn't have much power. When it's wet out,the car feels like it has a good bit more power. I drove home from work yesterday after a rain storm and my car was really getting it. I know I'm going have to some some testing but I was just wondering if other members ever had the issue.

You have grounding or more accurately bad grounding issue. Water is a very good conductor.

Bingo, that's where I would start. Check the grounds on the starter and the one thats on the engine that connects down near oil pan (believe thats where it goes).

Didn't really think about it being a ground. I was thinking sensors . I'll pull and clean all under hood grounds I can find this weekend.
