Bringing up an old thread because I can't find anything on my question:
What is the standard eccentric size (OD) and what is the eccentricity of the standard eccentric?
I should note this is a brand new head being built up with new valves, guides, new billet cam (not regrind), new rockers, only used parts are eccentrics and unbeknownst to me they are not all the same.
I am having an issue because I seem to have a few different sized eccentrics and I'm not sure if Some are oversized or are from an M10 or M30
Currently, the eccentrics that are not working (rotate completely) are the following dims:
Eccentric (A)
OD: .631"
linear e: .0315"
Perigee: .284"
Eccentrics that work (gap properly):
Eccentric (B)
OD: .631"
linear e: .0655"
Perigee: .250"
If anyone has some calipers and a few eccentrics lying around I would appreciate if you could measure them for me.
Thanks!
Pete
