I have an 06/87 325i. Just finished the last steps on my 2.7i into my convertible. Turn the key. The starter just spins freely, not turning the engine over. I think i have wired it up wrong some how. I followed this
everything is the same except i dont have the black yellow wire. Im thinking since the starter is rebuilt, and i know i installed the flywheel properly, that i wired something up wrong. It spins and works fine, except the sylenoid isnt pushing the gear out. Can i get some guidence? IM DYING TO START MY E30 AND DRIVE IT AGAIN!! its been nearly two months. Thanks Tim.
