    M20B27 Rod replacement question

SO I'm in the middle of building a Stroker Turbo ix and I've got a good condition ETA crank and just picked up a set of Super ETA pistons and rods. I've already bought the ACL Race bearings from VAC since my crank is well within spec.

One of the SETA rods has some dimpling/gouging/nasty junk on the large end and it needs to be replaced. I have a set of ETA rods and a spare set from a SETA that ate a valve and pock marked the pistons that I can use.

When I replace the rod can I use the wrist pin from the good piston with the bad rod on the new good rod?

When I replace whatever I need to (rod or rod and wrist pin) will I need to also replace the snap rings?

Would it be worth ordering new snap rings for the rest of the pistons or shouldn't it be a big deal since they don't see much loading?

    Thanks for the help!

    Bump.

Anybody? Nobody's replaced a bad rod before?
