Just replaced the volt regulator and now my car charges flawlessly when it's above idle but at idle it struggles a little. Is this normal? Before I would get stranded after using a/c it would run my battery down and car couldent start. So far with new volt regulator car starts every time I had one hard start but I think it's because I didn't turn the key enough

Wow 500k the m20 just refuses to let you down. i love m20's all my non bmw nerd friends hate my car and just don't understand. Haven't done a new head gasket yet? That was next on my list but if you haven't I won't lolComment

Nope... Just timing belts/water pumps every 60k and other routine maintenence. But my valve stem seals do leak when engine braking. So a head job is in order, when/if I feel like it. I've had it for 312k of that 513. Bought it with 201k for 1k.
