So i have an extra m20b27 and a getrag 260 trans laying around. I suddenly have had an extreme interest in 2002's. the floor boards are solid and body is straight. Now whats the difficultly on doing the swap? it would be my buddy and I doing it. how long would it take? if i had all the parts ready. I'm also assuming it'd cost around 700 since i already have the engine and trans. thanks guys.

There are a couple routes to take, from hack-job to near-oem. Pricing can be from $1,000 to $15,000. Time can take a weekend or two up to a couple years. Difficulty is also hard to describe as everyone's ability is different. Have you done fab work, electronics work, mechanical work? Personally I wouldn't do the swap unless I had something significantly better than a b27 to put into it (meaning I'd much rather have the M10 if given the choice between it or the b27).
