Eta's first compression test, how should I interpret?

    Cylinder 1: 180 psi
    2: 150
    3-6: all 180

This was done at sea level, and 14.7 psi air pressure times 9 is only 130 so the numbers are off for whatever reason. Car has felt good to me but we sprayed oil into cylinder 2 and that raised the pressure to 180 with all of the others, strong evidence that that piston ring is wearing.

This is a car with 150k miles so the results are about what I expected. The mpg is fine although it is eating a ton of oil, sometimes a full quart per <1000 miles. Almost all of the fairly new sparkplugs had oil on them, not just cylinder 2. I'm concerned that there is another problem, possibly a leaky gasket because of this. It was also running a bit funny immediately after putting the ignition system back in, and that problem seems to have gone away by just driving it although I'm not sure it won't be back soon.

Short term should I lay off driving the car much and focus hard on finding the source of the oil loss? I can afford to let it sit for a while because it is not needed for any vital transportation.
