help with cam selection

Im looking into cams for my motor and i want to get the right cam for the build. Please dont suggest a cam " because it sounds cool." Below are my motor specifics.

M54B30 crank
M54 rods
Stock bore
reusing M54 pistons shaved to fit
MS2
N/A for now

whats your compression going to be? what is the intended purpose of the engine?

that will determine to great extent what cam you can run

compression ratio will be about 9.2:1 and what im wanting to do is use the car as a dd as well as weekend auto cross. the car will be getting a turbo but im going to get another head for that.
