    m20 swap

Noob question but can I just swap a m20b25 into my 325e. And by that I mean would it just be a direct bolt up from taking out the b27?

You would be better off leaving the bottom end in the car, and swapping the "i" head/intake/motronic 1.3. Contrary to what the "experts" will tell you, when properly done this combo will give you higher compression ratio than the stock b25 had. This is especially important if you plan on keeping the 2.93. Torque is your friend.
